Reading Links 2

Reading Links answers a call from many teachers: the need for English textbooks that provide substantive content for lower-level students. Each book in the Reading Links series includes 20 units centered on high-interest topics such as the arts, careers, culture, the environment, and more. Articles and stories are short, allowing for focused classroom instruction. In addition to a reading passage, each unit contains an interesting visual reading component (such as a map or graph) set at a low level to assist with comprehension. These reading materials are supported by a variety of exercises which strengthen reading, vocabulary, grammar, listening, and speaking skills. While helping students boost their English, Reading Links aims to bolster students’ motivation, confidence, and critical thinking. Reading passages are between 75-100 words long in Reading Links 2.
